Explosion at Punjab Police’s intelligence wing HQ in Mohali

CHANDIGARH: An explosion took place at the headquarters of the Punjab Police’s intelligence wing in Mohali Monday night, police said. The explosion took place at around 7:45 pm and there was no report of any damage to property or injury to anyone, they said. The police have cordoned off the area. Senior police officers reached the spot and forensic teams were called in. The explosion came close on the heels of the recovery of an explosive device near the Burail jail in Chandigarh on April 24.
