BODY OF TRIBAL WOMAN FOUND

BALURGHAT: Tension gripped the locality after the body of a tribal woman was found from a jungle of South Dinajpur’s Kumarganj on Thursday night. As soon as the information was received, the Inspector-incharge of Kumarganj police station rushed to the spot with officers and police personnel and with the help of the local people, the body was initially taken to Kumarganj rural hospital from where it was shifted for autopsy to Balurghat district hospital. Superintendent of Police of South Dinajpur Rahul De said a written complaint was lodged by the deceased’s relative.
