Registration, trip card mandatory for Char Dham pilgrims

RISHIKESH: With the Himalayan shrines receiving unprecedented crowd, check posts in Dehradun, Mussoorie and Rishikesh were activated on Saturday. The pilgrims will be stopped at check posts and will not be allowed to proceed until they produce the mandatory registration and a trip card mentioning the date and time of their visit to temples, Dehradun District Magistrate R Rajesh Kumar said.
