NOIDA: 24-YEAR-OLD BEATEN TO DEATH WITH HEAVY STONE AFTER ARGUMENT

NOIDA: A 24-year-old youth was beaten to death with a heavy stone, following an argument with three bike-borne strangers in Sector 106 police station area of Noida on late Saturday night. Police is yet to identify the culprits and have said that it could be a case of road rage. According to police, the deceased was identified as Abhay Tyagi alias Gullu, a resident of Bhangel, Noida. He was a daily wage labourer. Sujeet Upadhyay, SHO of Phase-2 police station said that the incident took place around 10 pm on Saturday. The deceased had gone out to drink beer with friends. “Around 11 pm when he was returning home with friends, three men on two motorcycles bumped into them and an argument broke out,” he said.
