Dear Readers

MillionaireAsia India - - Editor's Note -

Located in the heart of a thoroughly posh and very modern sector of South Delhi, the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art is a place where time arrives at a standstill of its own accord. The sense of history inside the awlessly illuminated interiors is so palpable, you could reach your arm out and touch it. Venerated masters abound, encircled by the halo of brilliance which has made them some of the biggest names in the art universe.

The setting is perfect for the cover of our Collectors’ Edition. Kiran Nadar walks in and as exclusive photoshoot and interview with Millionaireasia India gets underway, it is apparent that here is a collector who is driven by pure passion. That is not to say that Kiran Nadar cannot talk numbers. As someone who has some of the rarest works by preeminent global names under the KNMA roof, she clearly knows her art and her commerce. But one always gets the sense that there is more to it than just numbers.

Kiran Nadar has been widely acknowledged for her philanthropic work and the KNMA also functions as a noncommercial, not-for-prot organisation armed with the objective of exploring the dynamic relationship between art, artists, audience and culture.

This conversation is perhaps the greatest purpose art serves in society. It is a constant reminder that people are really quite the same all across the world and one really does not need a language to understand art. The medium itself is a universal

which has been spoken for centuries and will continue to thrive well into the future.

The Millionaireasia India Collectors’ Special creates an inimitable platform for this conversation. From the classic to the contemporary, this edition speaks to a mindset which not only values heritage but also has the discernment to determine what would go on to become a collectible in days come.

This edition is a celebration of the ner things in life and is packed with all the aspects that pique the interest of a very select readership. We hope you enjoy it. Stay wealthy. Stay Happy.
