– Launch of Millionaireasia India’s first cover of 2018 by Karan Johar, Millionaireasia Regatta and Fundraising Gala Dinner

It was one of those rare occasions. An evening where everything was perfect and every prospect

designed to delight. The magnificent St. Regis Mumbai was playing host to the launch of Millionaireasia India’s first cover of 2018 which was shot in the breathtaking locales of Monaco. To add to this visual delight was the fact that the cover featured none other than game-changing icon of Indian cinema, Karan Johar, a man who has rescripted the rules of both filmmaking and business of cinema ever since he announced his arrival with the boxoffice trouncing romance, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

It was, in other words, an evening that would keep acquiring brilliant dimensions as it progressed. The venue dazzled it awaited the arrival of the galaxy of stars that were invited for the event. Aarti Surendranath, who had curated the evening, walked in resplendent in a floor-length outfit followed closely by Jackie

Shroff. From that point onward, it was a steady inflow of the beautiful people of Maximum City that were greeted by Parineeta Sethi, Chief Editor and Publisher of Millionaireasia India.

Karan Johar arrived sharp at the appointed hour giving various unspoken lessons in the art of punctuality, immaculate style and graciousness. With everyone settled in, Parineeta Sethi started off with the proceedings where she welcomed the guests and spoke about the photoshoot in Monaco with Karan. “Every aspect fitted in beautifully,” she said. “Karan Johar, Monaco and Millionaireasia complement each other and it shows in the way the cover came together.” She concluded her speech by describing Karan Johar as one of the nicest celebrities she ever worked with and then invited Rajeev Nangia, Director-India, Monaco Government Tourist Bureau on stage.

Rajeev Nangia expressed his pride and happiness at Destination Monaco having hosted star entrepreneur Karan Johar, who, in turn, had shared his Monaco memories with the world across his social media handles.

Following this, Aarti Surendranath called Karan to unveil the cover of

Millionaireasia and the directorentrepreneur duly obliged. He then, totally charmed the room with the story of his evolution as an individual, as a filmmaker and as entrepreneur. The fact that Karan Johar speaks extremely well is not news but the fact that he speaks straight from the heart was extremely evident that evening. It was no wonder everyone wanted a selfie with the man.

The evening was perfect as it was always meant to be.
