Avocado Chocolate Mousse

Mother & Baby - - LIFE & KIDS -

Ingredients: Fresh cream – 70 g Chocolate semi sweet (melted) – 100 g Avocado – 1 Vanilla essence – 1 tsp Cocoa powder -5 g

Halve the avocado and scoop the flesh into a blender. Add the fresh cream, vanilla essence and cocoa powder till it forms a fine paste. Melt the chocolate in a microwave and add it to the mixture. Spoon the avocado chocolate mousse into pretty glasses or ramekins. (I’ve used piping bag) Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh fruits or just serve it plain, it works perfectly.

As mothers, we want to feed our children the highest quality, most nutritious meals we can. But you won’t see smashed avocado in a baby food jar. Here’s a recipe, which brings in this highest nutritional fruit into our baby’s food plan in the form of a dessert. Avocado contains valuable nutrients including folate, fiber, potassium, vitamin E and iron. Here’s my version of a creamy mousse.
