Start with a small group of two and then move on to a larger group.

There should be a safe place al­lot­ted to the chil­dren and they should al­ways be su­per­vised.

A par­ent should be in­volved par­tic­i­pants - don’t just chat amongst them­selves.

Mix up free play with el­e­ments of struc­tured play so the kids learn to play to­gether. You could or­ga­nize a game or a fun ac­tiv­ity that all kids can par­tic­i­pate in. Balls are al­ways a good idea. Mu­sic is fun too as well as be­ing sooth­ing.

Dur­ing free play, make sure that there ad­e­quate ac­tiv­i­ties and toys so the kids don’t need to fight or com­pete for a toy.

Ar­range for some healthy fin­ger foods that kids can en­joy.
