The Chinese accessories brand has announced its first smartwatch in India called the Motive, which is available at Rs 3,999. Display

Motive features a 1.33-inch display with 2.5D tempered glass. It is equipped with features like sleep monitor, heart rate, sports, message, shutter, music and settings. The touch button to toggle from one feature to another is placed at centre bottom. There are three different themes for the main display that can be changed through settings.

Design

The new smartwatch comes with two different styled bands, shiny black metal and blue strap band. The metal band adds the premium touch while the blue strap band makes the device look casually cool. The sleek and sturdy style of the device makes it look classy and premium.

Functionalities

When connected with Bluetooth, the sleep monitor feature will allow you to track your sleep timings whereas the heart rate lets you measure your heartbeat. Under the sports mode, the smartwatch has an in-built multiple sports mode like walking, bicycling, roping, skipping, basketball, which works as a stopwatch for the fitness activities you indulge in. The message feature displays your incoming calls, emails, Whatsapp messages and text message notifications on your smartwatch’s display. The shutter feature is a camera control feature that will let you click pictures through the feature. The music lets you play the music that is available on your smartphone. The company claims that the smartwatch is IP67 water resistant and sweat-proof. What we found that it actually stayed in the one-meter depth of water and worked perfectly fine after we took it out.

Battery

According to the company, the device houses 180mah battery and it can run up to 10 days. However, we found that the device lasted a little lesser than the mentioned duration on a single charge.

How to use

Users need to download RS Motive application from their Android and IOS device and then need to sync it with the watch using Bluetooth. It is compatible with Android 4.4 and IOS 9 and above.
