Riversong Air x3

Plug it on for Affordable but, Impactful Earbuds

-

While popular audio brands are busy churning out premium wireless earbuds, the entry-level segment has also bombarded with plenty of options to choose from.

It’s now relatively easy to find inexpensive true wireless earbuds that sound pretty decent. Among the list, one is China-based accessories provider Riversong that has been unveiling a lot of products in recent past.

The company has launched wireless earbuds Air X3 and

Air X5 at the Mobile World Congress 2019 held in Barcelona, Spain that flaunts a 2,000mah carrying case. We reviewed the Air X3 variant that has IPX3 waterresistant technology, let’s find out how it performed.

Design

The Air X3 comes with a power bank equipped carry case. The case in a coral grey oval shape makes it look more like a pebble. However, it is quite light weighted and can be easily adjusted in your pocket. The earbuds are comfortable to hold on your ears but you may need to fix it a little in between.

Battery

The case battery is 2,000mah, which is great. On our usage, we found it to fairly decent as it lasted for a day on not-so-rigorous use. However, we feel the company can work a little more on the battery department.

Performance

In terms of performance, the earbuds are close to perfect as it delivered nice sound quality with an adequate amalgamation of bass and

everything. The best part is that you will not find any leakage even when the volume is full. So whatever you are listening to will be limited to you only, which I feel many entry-level earbuds lacks. The device also comes with IPX3 water-resistant technology. Tried and tested, it is. The only thing which you need to take care of is its hold. Everything else looks perfect.

Conclusion

If you’re looking at the entrylevel segment, then Air X3 can be a perfect earbud for your daily usage. There are many earbuds available in the market however, at Rs 2,999, these earbuds will surely not disappoint you. ■
