Global Screen Protector Market has witnessed continuous growth in the last few years and is projected to grow even further during the forecast period of 2020-26. And ITG, a brand that manufactur­es different types of tempered glasses, is planning to rule the Indian tempered glass market by the year-end. Keshav Jain, Director, ITG spoke to My Mobile and discussed their product portfolios, expansion plans. Here’s the edited excerpt.

What is your company all about? i would like to start with our vision that we are working on, in the tempered glass B2B market, we are offering for the very first time Direct to shop shipping with Damage guarantee. Our aim is to provide any retailer or wholesaler with a sense of security in a product they are ordering will be intact.

Can you briefly share your product portfolio? We are into manufactur­ing of tempered glass since the last 4 years, ITG. Our premium product is one of its kind products, with shiny premium glass, 2.5D edges, Bubble-free and Dot free. logistic support is also provided to buyers, which means we are offering direct to shop shipping and 100 per cent damage guarantee for shipment. We are also into manufactur­ing of anti Blue Glass, 11 D Glass and D+ Glass

What according to you is the most successful product of yours till now? 0.3 MM Normal tempered glass is one of the most demanding products in the market. at the current market trend, 65 per cent of the market is dominated by 0.3 MM Glass. at present we are selling more than 300,000 units per day. We are witnessing trends which predict higher demand for ITG 0.3MM tempered glass.

Tempered glasses are mostly available in every corner market. We can say it’s a very crowded market. How is your company different from them? ITG is offering unique compositio­n, which no one is offering in india. 0.3MM glass, which is available in the market, has many quality and logistic related issues. Normal products have dots, bubbles and other quality issues, while ITG has 2.5D curved edges, No bubble, No Dot and almost zero rejection by customers. We are offering logistic, end to end solution with in-transit damage and all-inclusive price,

How many kinds of tempered glasses does the company provide? ITG is offering 0.3MM Glass, but we are also working on antiblue glass, 11D Glass and D+ Glass.

Amid the competitio­n from high-end brands, what is your go-to-market strategy? To be honest, we are quite sure about the quality of our products; in fact, many wholesaler­s and retailers have testified that our quality and service is much on par with the cost we are offering. We, as of now are working on a distributi­on network in the south and west india. Our USP is we can proudly say is our quality, on which we are working on 24*7.

Which platform has been more beneficial for the brand — online or offline? initially, we are focusing upon an offline distributi­on network, the north and east region has been already figured out. With evolving B2B space online, we are just trying to get a partnershi­p with major b2b e-commerce player.

What are your expansion plan as well as further investment plans? We are looking to expand our product vertical and develop more products in the category. We are majorly looking to grow our distributo­rs’ network, as i believe it will have a major flow of our future investment.

Is there any after-sales service? ITG is the only brand to offer after-sales service in tempered glass market, as we are offering free shipping and breakage guarantee, we are helping our partners to reduce any loss if occurs in transit.

How was 2019 in terms of revenue? We started our sales in Jan 2020, but in just 2 month sort time we are among the most recognized brands for tempered glass in india. With Vivek Oberoi endorsing our product, we are expecting to be the market leader by the end of this year. ■
