A smart cleaning device by Xiaomi for modern households

Xiaomi has expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of mi Robot Vacuum mop-p, a smart cleaning device. The launch was announced by manu Kumar Jain, Global VP Xiaomi and md Xiaomi India in a Twitter post. Xiaomi says that the mi Robot Vacuum mop-p is equipped with a 2-in-1 sweeping and mopping function. It has 2100Pa suction and comes with intelligent mapping and route planning. It is equipped with LDS laser navigation technology which works with an upgraded Slam algorithm or real-time mapping, faster speed, higher accuracy and longer scanning range. It has 12 high-precision sensors. For safety, the robotics mopping device is equipped with anti-collision and antidrop sensors. Xiaomi claims that the device can make accurate navigation and cross obstacles up to 2cm in height.

The newly-launched product is equipped with a 3,200mah battery. It has a scanning range of 8 meters and a scanning frequency of 6*360 degree per second. The accuracy deviation is near 2 per cent, while the sampling rate is 2016 times per second. It has a smart electronically controlled water tank with 3 gears of water dispensing modes and water clogging preventive mechanism. The device can be connected to the mi Home app which enables one to control real-time mapping, spot cleaning, schedule cleaning and more. Users can also set a virtual wall via the app to avoid cleaning restricted areas like carpets and washrooms. Xiaomi will start shipping the robot vacuum cleaner from September 15.n
