Design, Camera Resonate but, Price Disappoints

-

The issue of COVID-19 has surely made Vivo delay its launch of Vivo V19 in the Indian market but the company after the much delay period has finally launched Vivo V19 and made it available to purchase. The smartphone market has been in stagnant phase with very few companies launching its product like Oneplus and Apple but their target was not the most competitive segment in the Indian smartphone market which ultimately makes the new Vivo V19 a matter of interest as it is aimed to revolutionize the mid-segment. So, let’s find out what the new Vivo V19 has to offer.

Design

The new Vivo V19 holds a quite bold and appealing look with a piano black body color with a large screen up front. The phone has a sleek design and reasonable body weight which makes it easy to hold and operate. The front fascia of the phone is dominated by the larger screen with dual selfie camera sensors on top in the form of a punch hole. The backside of the phone is sporting quad-camera sensors in a slightly bulged square frame which we have seen previously in Vivo V17. The rear camera sensors are assisted by dual-led flash which lies within the camera frame. The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the screen which when tested responded very quickly and accurately. On the right side of the phone lies the power button and the volume rockers. At the right lies the dual SIM tray with an extra slot for microsd card. The top side of the phone is blank whereas at the bottom side of the phone lies a speaker grille, Type-c USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Display

The new Vivo V19 offers enormous screen space to make you enjoy any activity to the fullest. The phone features 6.44-inch LIV Super AMOLED FHD+ Screen, made from the latest E3 OLED. The colors produced are very bright, vivid, and punchy as it has HDR10 which enables the screen to do such. The visibility of the phone is quite good as well as the screen is visible under bright daylight. The phone has a screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The aspect ratio of the phone offers wide viewing angles which we enjoyed while playing games and watching movies. The screen is protected by the latest 6th

Generation Corning Gorilla Glass.

Platform

The price range under which the new Vivo V19 falls has one of the latest processors which is Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 with eight octa cores where two cores are clocked at 2.3GHZ Kyro 360 Gold and six cores are clocked at 1.7GHZ Kyro 360 Silver. The functioning of the phone is very smooth as we did not come across any lag while using the phone. Multitasking, gaming, browsing were all smooth and very fast. The processor finds its support from the impressive RAM size of the phone which is 8GB. The graphics content was very good, especially
