OPPO ENCO W11

Decent Pick

-

Oppo is quite well known for the smartphones it produces but, recently we have seen that the company is now competing in the current and growing trends of wireless earbuds. Oppo has launched Enco W11 wireless buds which are considered the cheaper version of the previously launched wireless buds form the company which was Enco W31. The launch of Enco W11 will surely be making the competition tougher for the likes of realme Buds Q, Redmi Earbud S, and similar wireless headsets under such price range in which the new Enco W11 falls.

Design

The buds come in a very compact case that has Type-c USB port for charging the earbuds. The new Oppo Enco W11 is very light to wear and fits very well in the ears due to its bean-shaped design. The buds do not possess and LED light to show whether they are charged or not and even whether it is connected to your phone. The only way to find out whether the buds are connected or not is through the sound which is heard when it gets connected. Unlike other wireless earbuds, the new Enco W11 possesses Bluetooth connectivity in both earbuds making it hassle-free while pairing up with the phone ensuring stability. The case on the front has an LED indicator to show the charging status. Both the earbuds have an individual microphone which becomes very handy while talking on calls.

Audio

The new Oppo Enco W11 houses an 8mm dynamic driver with titanium platted composite diaphragms which enhances the sound quality. The sound quality of the earbuds is good. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.0 support. Also once the headphones are paired they will connect automatically with your phone when the phone comes under the 10 meters range of the headphones. One of the attractive features of the earphone is its IP55 rating which allows it to be worn even while working out as it is water and dust resistant.

Features

Oppo Enco W11 features call noise reduction which we tested while reviewing and found out that on the other end of the call people were able to hear quite clearly as there was no noise disturbance. The noise cancellation feature works very well even in the outside environment so you unwanted noise of the crowd and vehicles won’t affect the sound quality while taking any calls or listening to music. The earbuds hold smart features like you can control the volume levels by touching them. The users can change the tracks as well by double-tapping on the earbuds and with a single tap, the users can pause and play the videos or the songs. The earbuds also allow to answer calls and to activate voice assistant.

Battery

The battery capability of the new Oppo Enco W11 is also very good as it provides 5 hours of playback on a single charge and 20 hours of playback together with the charging case. When we tested the lasting capacity the headphone was able to stand 5hr quite easily with a single charge.

Conclusion

Oppo Enco W11 is a nice performing earbuds with decent sound quality and other features. The quality is manageable, the battery backup is mediocre, not bad. The IP55 rating is an advantage. Enco W11 sells at around Rs 2,499 but, there are options available in the form of realme buds which are cheaper and rise on occasions. „
