How much percentage increase has Pacific Gaming seen in the lockdown? The on-going pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns have turned our lives upside down. It was an unprecedented event that forced us to transit to a new way of living and working overnight. As a major part of the workforce now operates from home, they have a lot of time, which they spend on themselves.
Online gaming is one such activity that not only keeps us entertained, but also helps us improve various skills. The lockdown has given people both space and time to hone these skill-sets when they take breaks during work or post-work hours. This is the reason why online gaming has surged during the lockdown. Against this backdrop, we have recorded a 23 per cent MOM growth during the
quarantine period.
Can you specify the age-group of the majority of the customers who joined during this period? While our target demographic is anyone in the age group between 18 and 35, we have
observed that users above 32 years have become more active during the lockdown period. The lockdown has provided people with surplus time that people are spending with family or on other online activities. In the wake of lockdown, people are seeking entertainment from various platforms and online games.
