Bluetooth pairing mode, when you’re in a call, and more. If you want to silence the microphone, the four LEDS will stay amber until another feature is overridden. The Nest Audio has three mics that do a very good job while receiving commands and they have a very high rate of successfully grabbing the command no matter how high you turn up the volume.

Google Nest Audio comes with a 19mm tweeter and 75mm woofer which produces an amazing sound that covered my whole big room and the sound was clear in every corner of the room. The sound quality has improved when compared to its predecessor. The speaker comes with smart features like Media EQ and Ambient IQ to enhance sound quality. The bass of the speaker is very good as it provides an immersive bass experience that will lit up your mood. The speaker, when tuned to maximum volume, shows some signs of sound distortion which causes lacking details. To be honest, the overall sound quality is very good, and Nest Audio can give you a nice listening experience at moderate volume levels. The plus factor is that you don’t have to pay more for a speaker that can offer much more bass, detail, and sparkly treble.

The Google Nest Audio has an automated EQ mechanism that, based on the ambient sound, tuning the speaker and changes the sound depending on whether you listen to music or voice in podcasts. There is also Ambient IQ also helps Nest Audio to change the Assistant’s sound, news, podcasts, and audiobooks depending on your home’s background noise.

The Google Nest Audio comes with the feature to sync itself with the other Google Audio speakers like Google Home, Nest Mini, or even

Nest Hub and by doing so you play music in all the speakers at the same time.

Connectivity

The Nest Audio supports Bluetooth and Wi-fi connectivity (2.4 GHZ/5 GHZ) for high-quality playback. It supports FLAC, HE-AAC, LC-AAC, MP3, Opus Vorbis, WAV, and Webm Source audio formats. If your Wi-fi is offline, since the speaker uses Bluetooth 5.0 firmware and supports only the AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs, you can stream directly using Bluetooth. This ensures that the Nest Audio speaker enables both Amazon Music HD and non-chromecast service users to play music.

Power

The new Google Nest Audio speaker comes with a 30W power adapter to power the speaker and you have to keep the speaker plugged in to use it. the price range in which it falls, around Rs 7,999, as it offers an immersive sound experience and smart features to make your life easy. What I did not like is that its weight which is a problem in portability. The circular design which we had in Home is missing.

Two things I really miss on these smart speakers, first a power backup of its own and a universal Bluetooth pairing
