The wearables market in India is blooming for sure, a lot of new and old brands have shown some exceptional products. One of the emerging wearables brands of India is Noise, which has really expanded its portfolio and right now, is one of the best brands in this segment.

The company recently launched its first-ever ANC earbuds, the Noise Buds

Solo. Almost all the previous earbuds of the brands come with excellent sound and design. Now, see if the Noise Buds Solo featuring ANC should be given the same importance that we reviewed in the past.

The Noise Buds Solo comes with the price tag of Rs 4,999. It is the company’s first to feature Active Noise Cancelation, and it also has a triple mic system and a lot more. Let’s see if the Noise Buds Solo is up to the mark or not!

Built and Design

One of the major take away from the Noise earbuds collection is their design.

And the Noise Buds Solo is no exception. The earbuds looks very stylish and at the first glance the charging case looks great and the earbuds looks very similar to the Airpods Pro. So technically, the company has taken some major inspiration from Apple in terms of design.

The Noise Buds Solo comes in a boxy structure with round corners, the built of the charging case and buds is made up of plastic and it has a very soft matte finish. By the looks and design the buds gives away very premium feel. It is also very lightweight, hence it is very easy to carry. However, there is one thing that is not right, the case can easily attract fingerprints and if you choose a light color then it is prone to get dirty very easily and soon.

There are four LED indicators at the bottom of the charging case to alert users about the battery, a USB-TYPE C port and a button to reset the device. The charging case is also quite sturdy.

As we pointed out the buds looks very similar to the Airpods Pro, it features the stem design with silicone ear tips. The fit of the earbuds is very snugly, and the stem design should be credited for holding them in place. It does not come off easily, even if you dance around or jog with the earbuds on. But putting them on for a long time can give you that pain or uncomfortable feeling in the ears. You can wear the buds in the gym and even take a shower with them on, but do not submerge it underwater.

Overall, Noise has done a great job with the design of the Noise Buds Solo. It not only looks great, but it also fits all. So, no complaints here at all.

Sound and Performance

The Noise Buds Solo are capable of delivering an immersive sound experience as the company claims. It is for both who loves crisp and sharp sound and EDM lovers. The buds can be paired very quickly to your devices there are no glitches here. The only hiccup is with the touch controls, it takes some getting used to.

Of late, the company has really up their game and produced decent sound in budgeted earbuds. And this one, the Noise Buds Solo has also maintained that. It is also the company’s first product with ANC, and it sounds a great deal.

We tested the ANC in detail, while travelling, sitting in front of Noisy friends, and

the Active Noise Cancelation works like wonder, it is not perfect but gives a great deal of feel about the technology. You cannot expect this kind of result in the budgeted earbuds. Many companies have tried launching earbuds with ANC in the budget segment, but only some have delivered.

The Buds Solo is also equipped with in-ear detection and Hyper Sync, so as soon you take the earbuds out of your ear, the music will be paused. The pairing is also pretty seamless. However, sometimes the Buds Solo acts up a bit refuses to reconnect to the device it was paired with before. In such cases, you will have to manually pair it or press the reset button if it does not pair.

If we talk about the sound quality, the sound produced by Buds Solo is quite balanced. Each earbud houses a 10mm drivers, which has the power of a beast. The earbuds are capable of tackling all sorts of music genres, it produces thumping voice without even damaging the quality and at the same time it gives you a very sharp and crisp sound. Sadly, there is no app support to customise the sound. You will have to go with the default option to increase the bass or lower the trebles. But that is not much of a problem, what the Buds Solo produces with customised settings is also laudable.

Overall, the Noise Buds Pop earbuds pack a punch by providing an immersive experience to users. Even the active noise cancellation feature is really excellent in these earbuds.

Battery

The Noise Buds Solo TWS earbuds are rated to deliver seven hours of playback in terms of battery life, further extendable up to 36 hours with the charging case on a single charge. With active noise cancellation mode, these earbuds can deliver up to five hours of playtime. You can easily pair them via Bluetooth, and they automatically pair with your previously-paired device as soon as you open the case.

The battery life is exceptionally good and you can rely on it!

Verdict

The Noise Buds Solo comes with power packed features and its ANC is one of the selling point. The overall sound quality is commendable and with such a good battery life, it is totally worth checking out. There are minor hiccups but that can be overlooked by what the company is offering you with decent price.

The Noise Buds Solo are an excellent choice for headphones that deliver good audio along with great noisecancelling abilities. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and considering their features – they are offered at a very affordable price.

If you want a pair of earbuds that looks great, fits well and produces excellent sound output, you should totally grab the Noise Buds Solo! ■
