Apple Music brings Dolby Atmos, Lossless Audio to India

apple is now offering Dolby atmos spatial audio and lossless quality streaming features for apple Music users on android. the feature was first announced last year in May and most market started getting the update from June this year after the WWDC event to selected regions, but the India launch was delayed. these features now have started rolling out to ios devices and apple tv. In addition to this, apple Music beta users on android are also getting these features in India. the company launched these features for apple Music on ios at no additional cost in India. the tech giant uses alac (apple Lossless audio Codec) for lossless audio “to preserve every single bit of the original file”. users have to pay Rs 99 per month (3-month free trial) for access to the individual subscription plan.
