Google Play Store, Apple App Store ban 8 lakh apps

Google Play Store and Apple App Store have reportedly banned lakhs of apps. The “H1 2021 Delisted Mobile Apps Report” from Pixalate shows that over 8 lakh apps have been removed from Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Out of these, it is said that 86% of the apps targeted children age 12 and under. The reasons for delisting range from requesting risky permissions to the lack of the user privacy policy. On Google Play, the apps had over nine billion downloads and on Apple App Store, over 21 million user reviews before being deleted from the online app stores. The Google Play Store and Apple App Store may have banned these apps from their stores, but they may be on your device. Now what you should do is find them and uninstall or delete them immediately.
