Samsung has launched the Galaxy A03 Core in India. The successor of Galaxy A02 is designed for entrylevel smartphone customers and is priced at Rs 7,999 for the sole 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. It is available across retail stores, Samsung.com, and leading online portals.

Talking about its specificat­ions, the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core sports a large 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-v display with HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by octa-core Unisoc SC9863A paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable to 1TB via a microsd card slot. The Samsung Galaxy A03 Core runs on the latest Android 11 Go operating system that is designed for phones with low RAM configurat­ion. You get custom apps optimised for Android Go 11 that is claimed to offer 20% faster performanc­e compared to its predecesso­r Android 10 Go. The device is further backed by a massive 5,000mah battery. Other notable features of the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core include 4G LTE, Wi-fi Direct, Wi-fi with a 2.4GHZ band, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and GLONASS.

Moving to the optics, the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture for bright photos. Up front, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling. The South Korean tech giant is offering the phone in two classic colours – Black and Blue. ■
