Realme has launched a new budget smartphone in India called the Realme C31. The handset is available in two storage variants; 3GB + 32GB priced at Rs 8,999 and 4GB + 64GB priced at Rs 9,999, in two colours; Light Silver and Dark Green on realme.com, Flipkart and mainline channels.

Realme C31 comes with a 6.5-inch Fullscreen display with an HD resolution. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 88.7% and supports 16.7 million colours. Since the phone is entry-level, the display supports only a 60Hz refresh rate. However, the 120Hz touch sampling rate will make sure the screen has a good touch response. Powering the Realme C31 is an octa-core Unisoc T612 processor clocked at up to 1.82GHZ. It comes in two RAM and storage configurat­ions. You get a 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant and a 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant. You can add a microsd card of up to 1TB to the phone. This chipset is based on the 12nm process. For graphics, the processor uses an ARM Mali-g57 GPU. Realme C31 brings a 5,000mah battery. The 10W charger is bundled with the phone. It comes with a UFS 2.2 flash storage and with a side fingerprin­t sensor.

Moving to the optics, the Realme C31 is equipped with a 13-megapixel AI triple camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens as well as a B&W lens that will reproduce portraits in black and white. Up front, the device has a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
