-

GOqii Smart Vital Ultra is a perfect combination of a fitness tracker wearable and a health device that monitors vitals, activities, sleep and a lot more. With its 1.78 inch AMOLED 320×380 Pixels 2.5D Curved Edges display screen, 7 days battery life (as claimed by the brand) and water and dust resistant features, this appears to be the perfect choice if you are looking for an entry-level fitness band that knows its job. GOQII Smart Vital Ultra Smartwatch price in India begins at 2,288, which is a price point that makes the features look a lot better. Here’s our GOQII Smart Vital Ultra review for a closer look at the features.

First things first, design-wise GOQII Smart Vital Ultra is lightweight and not too chunky on the wrist. The plastic rectangular frame dial placed in a polycarbonate shell makes the overall look solid and along with the silicone straps, the total weight of the watch is about 37 grams. The watch has a single plastic button on the right and gives a usual entry level fitness band vibe. The physical button on the right spine of the watch body is to access pre-install apps, navigate to the home screen, and switch the device power on/off. A downside, however, is the material of the strap which can become itchy at times, especially when worn for too long continuously.

GOQII Smart Vital Ultra is designed with a 1.78 inch AMOLED display screen that has 2.5D curved glass atop and 320 x 380p resolution. Although the screen easily gets scratched, the curved glass top provides smooth operation facilitating ease of use. However, it’s not only the scratches that you as a user have to worry about, the watch display is also too prone to fingerprints due to no fingerprint resistant coating. Amongst other significant features is the IP68 water and dust resistant certification.

The display brightness is decent and works quite well even during daytime and under direct sunlight. However, the auto brightness feature is missing here. This means you will have to adjust the brightness of the watch display screen according to the lighting of your surroundings manually. This can be done by swiping down the screen from the top of the home screen. Moreover, the Smart Vital Ultra has an always-on mode and raise-to-wake gesture features to facilitate ease of use.

GOQII as a brand has always tried to position itself more as a health technology company and on similar lines of messaging, GOQOO Smart Vital Ultra too has many features that can assist you in your fitness journey. The smartwatch has 18 built-in exercise modes that can assist you to plan out your entire workout regime keeping every aspect in mind. The different modes include walk, run, cycle, workout, yoga, cricket, aerobics, climb, and meditation. Amongst the significant vital tracking features, it includes heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, oxygen saturation levels (SPO2), and step count.

Some users may find the lack of specific women’s health feature an issue but overall GOQII has managed to offer a decent health device that would be useful for every user irrespective of gender or age. Compared to the brand’s last smartwatch that entered the foray of entry level smartwatches, Smart Vital Ultra step tracking appears to be a lot more accurate. Multiple tech reviews claimed in their reviews that the Smart Vital Ultra had added very minimally to no ghost steps while sleeping or driving.
