Monitor your changed files in real time, in Linux
We know that top is a command to monitor your CPU usage and processes in real time. Here is a tip that will allow you to monitor changes in les in real time.
Just run the following command and watch the output:
#watch -d -n 2 ‘df; ls -Flat;’
he output will allow you to spy on which les are getting written on your system.
very time a le gets modi ed, it will get highlighted in the output of the above command.
Note: The above command is useful when you grant someone H access to your inu computer and wish to know exactly what they are modifying.
