Samsung brings out an Android-powered Galaxy camera

The Samsung Galaxy camera is the latest and most unexpected device from Samsung’s kitty. The camera runs Android’s latest 4.1 a.k.a. Jelly Bean OS. It has a 16 MP sensor with a 21x zoom lens, and features a 12.1-cm (4.8-inch) HD LCD screen.

The camera is wireless-enabled, which makes loading applicatio­ns for photo-editing and sharing easier. The Galaxy camera also includes a set of 35 photo editing features through the ‘Photo Wizard’, which allows profession­al quality edits, on the go. The camera’s ‘Auto Cloud Backup’ feature saves photos onto the cloud via Samsung’s AllShare automatica­lly, the moment they are captured. The Galaxy camera comes with two connectivi­ty options: a 3G version with Wi-Fi and a 4G version with Wi-Fi. The company has not shared any informatio­n on the pricing of the Galaxy camera as of now. The camera has been unveiled by the company in a recent press meet and will be available in the market in November.
