Now, Android 4.2 will help combat malicious apps

In an effort to bring down malware attacks on the Android platform, Google has introduced a new security system in Android 4.2. The new feature works on the device and scans any new apps that you install from Google Play or from third party apps stores. That apart, the new Android 4.2, a minor update of Android 4.1, comes packed with an array of new features. Here are some of them:

Photo Sphere camera: Users can click pictures in every direction. According to Google, “With Android 4.2, you can snap pictures in every direction that come together into incredible, immersive photo spheres that put you right inside the scene.”

Gesture typing: 8VHUV FDQ MXVW JOLGH WKHLU fiQJHUV RYHU WKH OHWWHUV LQ RUGHU WR type, and lift them off after each word. Users don’t have to worry about spaces because they get added automatica­lly. The keyboard can anticipate and predict WKH QHxW ZRUG, VR yRX FDQ fiQLVK HQWLUH VHQWHQFHV MXVW Ey VHOHFWLQJ VXJJHVWHG words. You can now power through your messages like never before. Android's dictionari­es are now more accurate and relevant. With improved text-to-speech capabiliti­es, voice typing on Android is even better.

Multiple users: The owner of the device can give users their own space through user accounts. According to sources at Google, “Everyone can have their own homescreen, background, widgets, apps and games–even individual high scores and levels! And since Android is built with multi-tasking at its core, it’s a snap to switch between users–no need to log in and out.” This feature is available only on tablets.

Wireless display: Android 4.2 allows devices to enable wireless display. Users can share movies, YouTube videos, and anything that’s on your screen, on an HDTV.
