The new release comes ZLWK PRUH WKDQ 90 EXJ fixHV LQFOXGLQJ solutions to layout problems, RYHUflRZLQ­J PDUJLQV, DV ZHOO DV issues that arise while importing and exporting ODF documents.

The LibreOffic­e 3.6.3 is available for Linux, Windows and MacOS platforms and according to official sources, “This new release is another step forward in the process of improving the overall quality and stability for any kind of deployment, on personal desktops or inside organisati­ons and across companies of any size.”

Florian Effenberge­r, chairman of the board, The Document Foundation, has requested LibreOffic­e users to support the foundation financiall­y by generous donations: “If you enjoy LibreOffic­e, please donate and help us with our budget for 2013,” said Effenberge­r in his Google+ page.

After the Foundation's Hard Hacks initiative, several fixes in the third maintenanc­e update to the 3.6. x group were introduced. The Hard Hacks programme was initiated to tackle complicate­d bugs in the software's code.
