Uninstalling a package

To coPpOHtHOy unLnstaOO a pacNagH, fiUst chHcN thH exact name of the package to be uninstalled by using the following command:

sudo dpkg --get-selections | grep package_name

The output of the above command will display the name of the package.

lnce you know the package name, you can remove it by using the command shown below:

sudo apt-get remove --purge package_name
