You can now ac­cess Gmail in six In­dian lan­guages!

It seems Google has big plans to lure In­dian con­sumers. Af­ter re­cently launch­ing the Google Nexus 7 tablet on Google Play in In­dia and in­tro­duc­ing other Google Play prod­ucts like eBooks and Movies, the search-engine gi­ant is now of­fer­ing fea­tures like ad­di­tional lan­guage sup­port on Gmail for users who are still com­fort­able with us­ing non-An­droid-based fea­ture phones.

The un­tapped In­ter­net user base still con­sti­tutes a large per­cent­age of prospec­tive In­ter­net users and by pro­vid­ing ad­di­tional lan­guage sup­port other than English and Hindi, Google is eye­ing the mass users who still switch on their net­work via a Java- based fea­ture phone and who pre­fer to com­mu­ni­cate in their na­tive lan­guages.

Apart from the Gmail lan­guage fea­ture, the search-engine gi­ant has also re­leased
