Creating a desktop shortcut in Ubuntu

Here is a command to create a desktop shortcut for any folder:

This will create a shortcut of the folder named test / home/test abc.

not only to Ubuntu.

#fdisk -l

/dev/sdb diskboot.img for redhat installati­on

dvd to root of the USB disk.

execute the following command:

#dd if=/root/diskboot.img of=/dev/sdb
