Linus Torvalds not happy with latest Linux kernel

-

Linus Torvalds has yet again stated his opinion about the latest Linux kernel 3.10 and, apparently, he is not happy with the latest release candidate for the Linux kernel.

Speaking to the community via his blog post, Torvalds said that he wished “…things were getting better for the kernel but he would just be lying.” This statement clearly reflects his disappointment at the latest release candidate.

He is worried that Linux is becoming too big, which does not bode well for free downloading and use. The latest Release Candidate 5 (RC5) is much bigger in size than the RC4, mostly due to the addition of more lines. Torvalds went to the extent of warning the developers about dealing with the problem in terms of their coding. He wrote, “I’m going to have to start cursing again unless you stop sending me non-critical stuff,” adding, “So the next pull request I get that has ‘cleanups’ or just pointless churn, I’m going to call you guys out on.”
