Here comes the smallest Android stick

SmartCandy is the latest Android TV stick that looks like a USB drive in terms of size and weight but is a mini- 3C in terms of functionality.

SmartCandy was spotted at a recent trade show. In terms of the hardware, the stick packs a 1.6 GHz ARM processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. It runs Android 4.1 ( Jelly Bean). The stick also has a microSD slot.

However, unlike other USB sticks, SmartCandy does not offer in-built Wi-Fi or a USB port but the company provides an external adapter for Wi-Fi and USB. The stick also comes with an option for a dock with Ethernet and three USB ports. 3ricing details have not been mentioned but it is assumed it would be priced under $100, like all the other sticks.

Other than the above mentioned device, the company also has a model that packs a Telechips processor with 512 MB RAM, and 4 GB of storage.
