Tizen Linux gets Unity mo­bile plat­form sup­port

We can cer­tainly ex­pect Tizen, the lat­est Linux-based mo­bile plat­form, to of­fer most of the fea­tures that are avail­able on other ex­ist­ing plat­forms. The lat­est plat­form be­ing de­vel­oped by ma­jors like Samsung and In­tel take its source code from Linux and, re­port­edly, will be launched on high-end de­vices by the end of this year.

But in an ex­cit­ing new de­vel­op­ment, Unity has an­nounced that it is work­ing on a mod­ule that will add sup­port to the Tizen OS. The new mod­ule for Tizen will en­able de­vel­op­ers to cre­ate and pub­lish games for smart­phones and tablets, pow­ered by the op­er­at­ing sys­tem.
