Miro

Miro has been developed by the Participatory Culture Foundation. It provides a combination of features available in different media players, in a simple and impressive manner.

Its first release was on February 21, 2006. It is written in Python using GTK (the GIMP ToolKit), a multi-platform toolkit for the graphical user interface.
