Prerequisites

In this section, we will go through the prerequisites on the host system in order to run OpenVZ successfully and efficiently. In the following sections, we will get our host to run the OpenVZ kernel instead of the stock kernel, followed by some configuration changes and, finally, create a new virtual machine (container) along with some configuration.
