3. The SSH com­mand

The se­cure shell (SSH) com­mand is used to log in to the re­mote host. The SSH client is a pro­gram for log­ging into and ex­e­cut­ing com­mands on a re­mote ma­chine. It pro­vides se­cure en­crypted com­mu­ni­ca­tions be­tween two un­trusted hosts over an in­se­cure net­work.
