Informative and useful content
The Open Source For You March issue was absolutely informative. The write-up on Android custom ROMs and recovery images made for interesting reading. Each of your issues is a collector’s item, carrying valuable information on Linux and other technical solutions. Keep up the great work. Looking forward for more such well-researched write-ups. —Vinod C. Dixit, dixitpatrakar@yahoo.in
First of all, a big thank you for your words of appreciation. Through the years, we have constantly worked at improving the content, layout and design of the magazine in order to make your reading experience more enjoyable. It really makes us feel great to know that our readers appreciate the magazine. We urge you to continue sharing your opinion with us, as this motivates us and helps us to deliver even better. anyone’s argument on this without a sensible justification. Only if the author mentioned what those shortcomings are, can a person decide on whether or not Linux is for them. I have been a Linux user since a long time and I am unable to recollect any ‘key’ feature that is available on other operating systems but not in Linux. I would consider this as misinformation.
Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks again for bringing out an awesome magazine! —Aurabindo J, jay.aurabind@gmail.com ED: Thanks for your feedback. We always try to carry articles that cater to readers of different types, both newbies and advanced users of FOSS. We agree with you regarding carrying hardware reviews in the magazine. There have been certain constraints with respect to available resources, which stopped us from doing so. We will try to feature such articles as soon as possible. Regarding your concern about the article, ‘A Beginner’s Guide to Linux’, we have informed the author and he will get back to you with his clarifications.
