Xiaomi releases its largest smartphonee
Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi, has recently launched the Mi Max in India, which is known to be the largest smartphone available at an affordable price. The device has a 16.35cm (6.44 inch) full HD (1080x1920) 342ppi display with an all-metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
The variant of the device available in India features 3GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage. It is powered by a Snapdragon 650SoC with a hybrid dual SIM configuration, which enables users to place a microSIM card of up to 128GB in the secondary SIM card slot.
On the camera front, the device sports a 16 megapixel rear camera offering phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and LED, along with a 5 megapixel front camera with an 85 degree wide angle view. Both cameras have an f/2.0 aperture.
The connectivity features of the phablet include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS/A-GPS with Wi-FI 802.11ac with Mimo. Backed with a massive 4850mAh battery, the device weighs 203 grams. It also sports an infrared emitter to act as a universal remote control, apart from an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, etc.
