This was a full-day track with mul­ti­ple ses­sions, dur­ing which en­ter­prise end users (CXOs, IT heads, etc) shared their suc­cess sto­ries. This track was led by speak­ers like K. Ra­jasekhar

(deputy direc­tor gen­eral, NIC, MeitY), Ravi Trivedi (founder, PushEn­gage.com), Vikram Me­hta (as­so­ciate direc­tor, in­for­ma­tion se­cu­rity, MakeMyTrip), Dr Michael Meskes (CEO, creda­tiv in­ter­na­tional GmbH) and Prasanna Lo­har (head, tech­nol­ogy,

DCB Bank Ltd).

This was a half-day track with mul­ti­ple ses­sions on the role of open source in hy­brid ap­pli­ca­tion de­vel­op­ment. Speak­ers in­cluded Vivek Srid­har (de­vel­oper ad­vo­cate, Dig­i­tal Ocean), Ra­jdeep Dua (direc­tor – de­vel­oper re­la­tions, Sales­force In­dia) and Bin­dukaladeepan Chi­nasamy (se­nior tech­ni­cal evan­ge­list,

Mi­crosoft), amongst oth­ers.

This was a half-day track with mul­ti­ple ses­sions that helped IT man­agers/ heads in un­der­stand­ing the role of open source in dif­fer­ent as­pects of the cloud and in Big Data. This track had speak­ers like Sud­hir Rawat (se­nior tech­ni­cal evan­ge­list, Mi­crosoft), Ra­jku­mar Natara­jan (CIO, Prode­vans Tech­nolo­gies), Ra­jesh Jeya­paul (ar­chi­tect, men­tor and ad­vo­cate, IBM), Su­man Deb­nath (project leader, Toshiba) and Sangeetha Priya

(direc­tor, Ax­censa Tech­nolo­gies), amongst oth­ers.

Open source data­bases have al­ways been of great im­por­tance. The event had speak­ers from lead­ing data­base com­pa­nies in­clud­ing Su­jatha Si­vaku­mar and Mad­husud­han Joshi (Or­a­cle In­dia), Soh Hiong (se­nior con­sul­tant, NetApp), Pa­van De­o­lasee (Post­greSQL con­sul­tant, 2nd Quad­rant In­dia), Ga­gan Mehra (direc­tor, In­for­ma­tion Strat­egy, Mon­goDB) and Karthik P. R. (CEO and DB ar­chi­tect, My­d­bops), amongst oth­ers.

This was a half-day track with mul­ti­ple ses­sions on what’s hot in OpenS­tack. This track was done in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Open Stack com­mu­nity and at­tracted a lot of cloud ar­chi­tects, IT man­agers, CXOs, etc. Speak­ers for this track in­cluded fa­mous OpenS­tack en­thu­si­asts like Anil Bi­dari, Chan­dan Ku­mar, M. Ranga Swami and Janki Ch­hat­bar, amongst oth­ers.

Open source plays an im­por­tant role with re­spect to se­cu­rity. So it was se­cu­rity ex­perts, IT heads and project lead­ers work­ing on mis­sion­crit­i­cal projects who at­tended this track that had mul­ti­ple ses­sions on un­der­stand­ing cy­ber se­cu­rity and open source. Speak­ers for this track in­cluded Biju Ge­orge (co-founder, In­stasafe), San­deep Athi­yarath (founder, FCOOS), and Jo­erg Si­mon (ISECOM and Fe­dora Project), amongst oth­ers.

This half-day track with mul­ti­ple ses­sions was on the role of open source in the In­ter­net of Things (IoT). This track was one of the most sought af­ter and saw thought lead­ers like Ad­nyesh Dal­pati (direc­tor – so­lu­tions ar­chi­tect and pre­sales, Alef Mo­bitech), Ra­jesh Sola (ed­u­ca­tion spe­cial­ist, KPIT Tech­nolo­gies), Aahit Gaba (coun­sel open source, HP En­ter­prise) and Ra­makr­ishna Rama (direc­tor - soft­ware, Dell In­dia R&D) shar­ing their knowl­edge on the sub­ject.

This half-day track, con­ducted in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Docker com­mu­nity, had lead­ers from the Docker com­mu­nity as well as ex­perts from the in­dus­try share their thoughts. The speak­ers in­cluded Neep­en­dra Khare (founder, CloudYuga Tech­nolo­gies), Uma Mukkara (co­founder and COO, OpenEBS), Ananda Murthy (data cen­tre so­lu­tions ar­chi­tect, Mi­cro­fo­cus In­dia) and Sud­har­shan Govin­dan (se­nior de­vel­oper, IBM In­dia), amongst oth­ers.

This half-day track was about the lat­est in open source and how its fu­ture is shap­ing up. This track had speak­ers like Kr­ishna M. Ku­mar and Sanil Ku­mar D. (chief ar­chi­tects in cloud R&D, Huawei In­dia), Vishal Singh (VP – IT in­fra and so­lu­tions, Eli Re­search In­dia), Biju K. Nair (ex­ec­u­tive direc­tor, Sflc.in) and Ku­mar Priyansh (de­vel­oper, Back­Slash Linux).
