Harman launches wearable wireless speaker

-

Harman International, owned by Samsung, has launched a wearable Bluetooth speaker from JBL – the JBL Soundgear. This device is worn around the neck for a handsfree and ear-free listening experience. The device can be easily connected to any Android or Apple smartphone or tablet, and can also be used with mobile virtual reality headsets. It is built with a dualmicrophone conferencing system with noise cancelling technology, which ensures sound clarity, and comes with an echo cancelling microphone.

The speaker is designed with an anti-slip rubber, to keep it safe even during rigorous movement.

Weighing about 350 grams, the device packs an 800mAh battery which offers six hours of playtime.

Overall, the speaker allows users to create their own personal sound zone while going about their day-todays tasks, yet without the closed-off feeling of a headphone.

The Harman JBL Soundgear is available for purchase from Harman’s e-commerce platform and at other online and offline dealers across the country.
