Huawei launches new flagship smartphone model with three rear cameras
Multinational telecommunications equipment company, Huawei, has unveiled its latest smartphone – the P20 Pro. Being the company’s flagship smartphone model, the device comes with high-end specifications.
It has a 15.49cm (6.1-inch) near bezel-less, full HD+ OLED display and a ‘notch’ at the top which includes a front-facing camera, sensors and receivers, apart from a fingerprint sensor at the bottom.
The smartphone is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and runs
The company claims this smartphone is the first to feature three rear cameras, which include a 20MP monochrome camera with a f/1.6 aperture, a 40MP RGB camera with a f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP telephoto camera with a f/2.4 aperture.
A user can also record slowmotion videos at 960 frames per second, and take selfies with the 24MP front-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture. Powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 processor, the P20 Pro comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
The smartphone has a large 4000mAh battery to ensure long hours of usage, and comes with
3G, 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Available in Twilight Black, Midnight Blue and Pink Gold, the Huawei P20 Pro can be purchased via online and retail stores.
