This small town seems to have been quite ac­tive on the OOH front. Says Ashish Agar­wal, Direc­tor, ASA Ad ve r t i s i n g , s a y s “We have got all kind of me­dia that are avail­able in metro cities and abroad like LEDs, Unipoles, gantries, bus shel­ters etc. Even the gov­ern­ment is show­ing p o s i t i ve re­sponse to­wards it, by is­su­ing new ten­ders on BOT ba­sis and fo­cus­ing on im­ple­ment­ing new prop­er­ties. They have also un­der­stood that th­ese prop­er­ties will make the city look good.” But hav­ing said that, Sau­rabh is op­ti­mistic, he says, “Fu­ture is good as our mar­ket has ev­ery­thing that is avail­able in the metro cities. But the bad el­e­ments are re­strict­ing the growth of out­door in­dus­try in our city.” With not much ac­tion hap­pen­ing, there is fear on the part of the in­dus­try that growth would be stag­nant.
