Nooraine formed #Righttolearn to successfully contest the Government’s ban on online education during the pandemic

This is the vision that Nooraine has brought to life, transforming herself from a corporate leader to a revolutionary force in Indian education. Nooraine’s journey began with dreams of a different kind of school being a student of traditional classrooms in Bangalore. Armed with a Master’s degree from Boston University and a successful career at IBM and Reuters, she returned to India in her early 30s, driven by a desire for change. Witnessing India’s vast potential, she recognized education as the key to unlocking it.
A Call for New Learning and Collaboration
Nooraine eloquently captures this challenge: “This could be India’s, and in fact humanity’s century, if we recognize that the New World needs New Learning and new measures of success. We, as education leaders, need to walk the talk and drive change in partnership with stakeholders, including the Government.”
In 2005, Nooraine co-founded Inventure Academy, a K12 school consistently ranked among the top 3 co- educational day schools in India in the Educationworld India School Rankings.
Through initiatives like Inventure’s Our Voice platform, she has championed student participation. From leading efforts to enhance child safety in Karnataka, contributing to India’s New Education Policy, to spearheading research on the impact of Bangalore’s urbanization on lakes and innovative learning models during the COVID-19 pandemic, Nooraine has been at the forefront of transformation in education.
Beyond Inventure: Championing Inclusivity
Nooraine’s commitment extends far beyond recognizing the importance of inclusivity. She spearheaded a landmark collaboration with the Government Higher Primary School, Ramagondanahalli (GHPS Rghalli). In partnership with Teach for India (TFI) and Whitefield Ready. Nooraine led an educational transformation, making schooling more engaging for a wider student population. Today, GHPS Rghalli boasts over 1,000 students and a waitlist of 350 students, a testament to the power of collaboration in bridging educational divides.
Building a Robust Ecosystem Through Partnerships
Nooraine actively partners with organizations like UNICEF, IISC, Srishti, Mundkur Law Partners (MLP), Enfold and B.PAC to amplify Inventure’s impact and share best practices to enable learning. Nooraine formed #Righttolearn to successfully contest the Government’s ban on online education during the pandemic. These partnerships leverage the expertise of each organization to create a more robust ecosystem for the benefit of all.
A Well-rounded Leader
Not only an education revolutionary, she’s a well-rounded individual who prioritizes wellness. She understands the importance of life beyond textbooks, whether it’s hitting the golf course or exploring new destinations. This holistic approach spills into Inventure’s offerings, with a new STEAM- focused campus in Yeshwanthpur and a sports-centric one in Devanahalli. Nooraine also serves as an independent director on the board of Cigniti Technologies Limited, a publicly listed company.
