What are the product portfolio and the GTM strategy of Smartron?

The i dea behind smartron was to l et go and build I ndia’s first original OEM brand and product brand l i ke Samsung. I t ’s going to take l ots of time and money and we may go along the way but someday has to do i t. So the i dea was to go and build the broadcast product categories from mobile computing, wearable, electronic motors. Today, we have about 10 products under development across all these categories from mobile phones. Other than smartphone we have the smart band, e- bikes, t- books and Ultrabook.

When will be these products out in the market?

With our unique designs and different products, we will be out i n next 9 to 12 months. I can ensure you, Smartron i s not a Chinese product. Whether i t i s material, I Ds, workforce i t i s all I ndian and i s controlled from here. We have already l aunched smart bands and soon electric bike will be out. Next on our l i st i s smart home solutions l i ke Amazon, Google Home has.

Tell us more about the home solutions of smartron?

They are not j ust one product but i t ’s the one hub products. We are also creating the ecosystem. Today, at l east ten companies are collaborating to develop the solutions. One i s developing a smart bulb, other i s creating smart cameras and l ocks. So when we l aunch a product you will see security solution, l i ght control solution, a climate control solution. And you will see a different kind of solution because j ust having a hub doesn’t work.
