Days after the launch of WhatsApp Business App Paytm has come up with a similar application. The digital payments network has launched Paytm Business App for Android users which lets new merchants sign up quickly and get a Paytm QR code. The app also allows merchants to manage their day-to-day transactions.

Kiran Vasireddy, COO, Paytm said, “We are committed to building the best payments infrastructure for our merchant partners. Our Paytm for Business app is another step towards simplifying payments for the country’s vast and diverse business partner community. It will make managing day-to-day business operations simpler for our partner merchants and offer them the peace of mind that comes with having a dependable one-stop solution. All needs ranging from seamless acceptance of various payment modes to day-wise settlement summary have been taken care of.”

Paytm for Business app also allows merchants to raise support tickets, check the status of existing tickets, browse through common FAQs, and get priority access to Merchant Helpdesk. Paytm says that the merchants and businesses will be able to accept payments with zero commission charges. The app also offers cashless KYC onboarding.

Additionally, all partners can accept payments through QR code via payment methods such as Paytm, UPI, credit card, and debit card. While there is an initial monthly payment receiving limit of Rs 50,000, it can be further increased with a custom request. Currently, the app is available in more than 10 languages.
