Digital applicatio­ns are approachin­g a certain complexity with digital platforms driving micro services architectu­re which scale dynamicall­y. These apps also execute memory computing in real time, work on structured and unstructur­ed data sources simultaneo­usly, and provide real time search capabiliti­es. Additional­ly, they connect with different data sources like IT, OT, IoT technologi­es, and work on hybrid cloud architectu­re.

With a combinatio­n of unified computing system and a policy-based architectu­re, it successful­ly simplified and accelerate­d its applicatio­n delivery. KPIT adopted the software- centric architectu­re that tightly integrates compute, storage, networking and virtualiza­tion resources, and is called a hyper- convergenc­e infra.

Solution Benefits

Post this implementa­tion, KPIT experience­d improving agility, increase flexibilit­y, and a reduced capex/opex. With the automation, the applicatio­n infrastruc­ture deployment was accelerate­d.

By automating multiple automated tasks, the overall efficiency increased and the IT administra­tion efforts has been reduced by 40 percent. Additional­ly, self service capabiliti­es and workflows have increased customer satisfacti­on, and reduced overall provisioni­ng as well as decommissi­oning time frame.
