Hotstar released its India Watch Report 2019, a study of online video consumption behaviour and trends. Some key highlights from the report include that Hotstar crossed 400 million downloads, at 555 installs per minute in 2019. Sports streaming reached new heights with a 300 million+ platform reach during VIVO IPL 2019. 25.3 million liveconcurrent viewers were recorded during the India vs New Zealand semifinal. 63% of the total online entertainment consumption came from non-metros.41% of Game of Thrones viewers also watched Hindi family dramas.More than 40% video consumption came from regional content.
