5G-IoT set to dominate

5G with emerging technologi­es like AIand IoT will not just upgrade existing services, but lead to creation of new, improved alternativ­es. Its impact is expected to be felt across automotive, defence, education etc. Industrial and consumer infrastruc­ture will materially get impacted with 5G implementa­tion. By 2022, 70% of enterprise­s will be experiment­ing with immersive technologi­es for consumer and enterprise use. 25% will have them deployed in production, according to Gartner. Although technologi­es will continue to evolve and find applicatio­n in business processes, the 5G plus IoT can be expected to dominate the foreseeabl­e future. Staying competitiv­e will ultimately mean adapting, and there will be plenty in 2020 and beyond for companies to catch up with. So, it’s time to get started.
