Tukatech Inc., along with other influential fashion industry leaders, gathered at the elite City Club in downtown Los Angeles, California for the Los Angeles Business Journal 2017 Fashion Awards, an annual event. The extravagant penthouse gala boasted a list of LA’S “who’s who” from designers and brands, to financial resources and technology. LABJ recognized these businesses and individuals through eleven diverse award categories. Among the nominees was Ram Sareen, Head Coach & Founder of Tukatech, Inc. who was honoured with the award for “Technology Innovation.”
“Over 80% of California’s fashion industry is making amazing strides in fast fashion using our technology. More than 90% of all universities and fashion schools teach product development with TUKACAD and TUKA3D and even some high schools have incorporated the software into their curriculum. The reward for our hard work is much appreciated,” said Ram Sareen.
The LABJ Fashion Awards acknowledge the top apparel companies that drive tremendous economic growth in the US region and make Southern California a major force in the business of fashion. The companies awarded with this prestigious honour have been instrumental in transforming Los Angeles into a hub of fashion influence and innovation. “We would like to congratulate all the nominees and awards recipients, and thank the thousands of TUKA customers worldwide who trust us every day to do what we love to do. We can’t wait to continue our journey of innovation and remain committed to providing the fashion industry with powerful tools to achieve excellence,” said Sareen.
