Safety was another feature of the automated machines on display at the GTE-2018. HNS Enterprise exhibited, for the first time in India, its latest Automatic Snap Button Attaching Machine from the Chinese brand Jiake. To preclude accidents, this single-operator machine has a built-in safety device that stops the machine if it finds the operator’s hand to be in a dangerous position.

“The single operator machine is user-friendly and can attach 40-45 buttons in a minute,” harish Kumar naik, the operations head of hns enterprise told Team Perfect Sourcing. This Jiake Automatic Snap Button Attaching Machine is fitted with an intelligent brain, enabling adjustment of the mould with the touch of a finger.

The machines in use until now required as many as three operators, that too with a success rate of 20-25 buttons per minute. The mould used in these machines also needed to be changed manually, depending on the the size and shape of the button.
