Dupont™ Brings Artistri® inks for Bril­liant Re­sults in DTG

Dupont™ Ad­vanced Print­ing that brings tech­nolo­gies and prod­ucts for print­ing and pack­age print­ing was seen at Gar­tex. Dupont™ Artistri® inks are avail­able in both pig­ment and dye­based for­mu­la­tions that com­bine Dupont™ pro­pri­etary pig­ment dis­per­sion, poly­mer and ink for­mu­la­tion tech­nol­ogy. Be­cause they are for­mu­lated with the same dyes and pig­ments used in con­ven­tional tex­tile print­ing, Artistri® inks of­fers bril­liant colours, ex­cel­lent fast­ness prop­er­ties, and ro­bust print re­li­a­bil­ity. “It im­proves wash fast­ness i.e. the num­ber of wash the printed t –shirt can go through, it im­proves the hand feel, nor­mally in direct to gar­ment print­ing some­times the colours crack, so the feel is not good and thirdly it en­hances the colour sat­u­ra­tion i.e. the bright­ness of the colour and the print is very at­trac­tive and that is what makes Du Pont dif­fer­ent from its com­peti­tors,” in­formed Ab­hishek Dro­lia from the com­pany.

t-shirts that en­able ef­fi­cient and con­sis­tent print­ing com­bined with bright, wash re­sis­tant colour prints, while Artistri® P5010 is de­vel­oped for use with white cot­ton and polyester shirts. The new Brite P5003 and P5010 pre­treats for DTG not only make colours pop, but also hold them longer on the fab­ric with a vast im­prove­ment in wash fast­ness.

Du Pont plans to ex­pand by in­tro­duc­ing sub­li­ma­tion inks for the South Asian mar­kets. Shar­ing re­sponse about the ex­hi­bi­tion, Ab­hishek said, “We had been every ex­cited from the be­gin­ning, we hoped to get a bet­ter re­sponse and we have got what we ex­pected.”
